FORESEE participated in Xartec Salut’s Venture Builder acceleration program and became the winner of the PitchDay session.
The FORESEE project has been one of the six projects selected to participate in the Venture Builder acceleration program of the Xartec Salut network. The Venture Builder program has been created to train and provide strategic support to research groups in the HealthTech field to help them drive their innovative projects to market and develop a spin-off. In this edition, the program has awarded two “best pitch” awards, and FORESEE has obtained the first position. The award consisted of additional personalized mentoring sessions to continue developing your project.
This program supports researchers in the initial stages of the process of creating companies, where the risks are greatest, functioning as a catalyst in innovation and entrepreneurship, to ensure that scientific advances can reach the market and benefit the society. It combines training and mentoring sessions with HealthTech technology transfer experts throughout its three-month duration. In particular, these sessions aim to help participants develop their first business plan and financial plan, providing them with relevant knowledge on legal and regulatory aspects, business modelling, communication strategies and team management, among others , with sessions given by experts such as Juan Solís from ARVOR and Oscar Alegre from dwf RCD, among others.
In this edition, a final pitch was held at the Norrsken House in Barcelona in front of a panel of renowned investors: Alejo Costa from CRB Inverbio, Sergio San Agustín from Clave Capital, Joan Mercadal from NARA Health Capital and Francisco Badia of Grow Venture Partners. The FORESEE project stood out for its maturity and obtained the “Best pitch” award. This recognition allows FORESEE to obtain additional mentoring sessions.
