The Heart Failure Awareness Week 2025 is an annual opportunity to remind that caring for our hearts is essential to caring for ourselves.
Heart failure is a worldwide public health concern, affecting more than 64 million people across the globe 1. According to HF Stats 2024: Heart Failure Epidemiology and Outcomes Statistics, heart failure prevalence will just be increasing with predictions of 70 % growth by 20502.
Given this reality, raising awareness is crucial to make a meaningful impact on society. By promoting education on healthier habits and lifestyles, we can empower individuals to make informed choices that improve their well-being. Encouraging preventive care and providing accessible resources are key steps in building a healthier future for generations to come.
Being conscious of this situation, in FORESEE we aim to help patients and clinicians to manage this condition. By remotely monitoring patients we aim to create a new reality for them by anticipating decompensations, preventing re-hospitalizations and, in turn, reducing the related socioeconomic costs and avoiding a decay on the functional status of patients.
And remember, it’s not only about monitoring, but on FORESEEing.
