This World Heart Day, we stand alongside millions of people worldwide in promoting cardiovascular health and advocating for those affected by heart disease. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, causing almost 18 million deaths per year [1]. And the United Kingdom reports it very clearly: “Poor cardiovascular health can cause heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, peripheral arterial disease and the onset of vascular dementia.”[2]
As part of our social commitment, in FORESEE we believe that we can change this narrative by prioritizing awareness, prevention, and innovation. We believe that taking proactive steps toward heart health can change lives. Simple daily habits like eating a balanced diet, staying active, and managing stress play a vital role in reducing the risk of heart disease. Regular health check-ups and monitoring key metrics such as blood pressure and cholesterol are essential in preventing heart-related complications. By prioritizing heart health and embracing a mindful lifestyle, we can all contribute to a healthier, longer-lasting future.
At FORESEE we are dedicated to leveraging technology to improve the lives of those living with heart failure. Our remote monitoring solution is being designed to support proactive management by providing up-to-date insights into the patients’ heart health. With our technology, we will enable early pharmacological intervention, preventing avoidable hospitalizations, and helping patients stay connected with their healthcare teams—no matter where they are.
This World Heart Day, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing heart health through innovation, working towards a healthier future for everyone.
